I am mildly obsessed with Audible, love to cook, and prefer to drink my morning coffee from a red mug. I love washing dishes and would rather walk anywhere than drive. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday when dozens of friends and family gather in our 1860 restored barn for a big holiday dinner. My adult children are my favorite people in the world and I am happiest when my children and grandchildren are all sitting around our big dining room table, telling stories and laughing. If we happen to be eating steamed crabs, all the better.

I love anything to do with design, and I love to read. I live for a beautiful fall day and morning cuddles with my daughter, Charlotte. My amazing husband is a homegrown North Carolina firefighter who is wonderful at building furniture and landscaping. I am a proud alumni of Lynchburg College. I love the excitement of a city but prefer spending time at my parents' farm riding my horse or at our home enjoying a bonfire. I am grateful for my family and my mother who always reminds me we are "To Blessed to Be Stressed".

I live for my three kids (Tucker; Britton; Keegan), my hubby (Colin), and my black lab (Callie) who I talk to like she is a person, which I think is totally normal. When I’m not planning weddings you can find me on my Peloton or organizing anything and everything. I love kicking back with a glass of red wine, and Bethany Beach – even better if they’re together! I adore when a client becomes a friend. I own way too many shoes and black dresses. I'm a to-do-list-a-holic. Completing my to-do list is often on my next to-do list. I don't care for being the center of attention. I can't go a day without talking to my mom.

I love working out and hanging out with my family. I drink way too much coffee and never sleep late. If I am not at the gym in my Nikes, I am most likely wearing heels. I would rather make a phone call than send an email. My favorite place in the world is anywhere that I can be with my four children and their children at the same time. I love seeing the bride walk down the aisle and think that being part of the most important day in a couple's lives is The. Best. Job. Ever.
